Tentative Agreement: How Voting Works

Social share icons

Now that there is a tentative agreement between our union and Piedmont, CWA members must vote on ratification of the agreement. Below is important information you need to know about voting. We encourage every member to vote!

If you are a Piedmont passenger service employee, you may vote if you are a member in good standing. You must be:

  1. Up-to-date on your union dues and
  2. Have completed a membership form.

Here's How Voting Works:

You will get instructions and a personal identification number (PIN) in the mail from BallotPoint, the independent company that oversees the voting. You may vote by phone or online with your PIN. To make sure you get voting information from BallotPoint, you MUST be a member in good standing by October 5. Please contact your local union immediately to make sure they have your membership form and you’ve paid your dues.

If you miss the October 5 deadline, you can still vote if you become a member in good standing and contact your local before October 30, at 5 p.m. EDT, so they can provide you with information and a PIN.

Voting takes place October 15-November 2, 2018 at 12pm EDT. The results will be announced on the evening of November 2.

There is more information about the TA and Voting in the FAQ here and on the Member Resources page.
